Are they real roses?
Yes, Prairies and Petals roses are real roses that have been handpicked, harvested, and treated to last up to one year from our farm in Ecuador!
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we have a great supply chain to ship worldwide. Our arrangements are packaged securely and shipped from Toronto, Ontario.
Is a signature required upon delivery on my order?
For security reasons, all Prairies and Petals online purchases require an adult signature upon delivery. All orders will be delivered by UPS, or Canada Post within Canada. If your order is being delivered within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), we may use a private courier company to hand deliver your order.
Do you sponsor events?
Can I add a hand drawn portrait to my arrangement?
Yes, we have in-house artists that are able to hand-drawn portraits on our Signature boxes. Please email us at email@example.com. Please include the arrangement you are looking to purchase, and the portrait you'd like hand painted. We would be happy to provide a quote and confirm timelines.
What is the return policy?
Prairies and Petals takes pride and ownership in all arrangements shipped from our boutique. To align with industry standards and nature of the arrangement, your arrangement cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged once the order has been placed. All arrangements are individually crafted for you.
How do they last one year?
Prairies and Petals roses are grown in Ecuador where the climate is most favourable. Our fresh roses are cut at their most radiant stage and undergo a preservation process. During the preservation process, the roses are rehydrated and placed in a plant-based formula without compromising the roses’ natural shape and radiance.
Do the roses smell?
Yes, although you not only have the benefit of enjoying these roses for up to one year, you can also enjoy the scent of roses for two to three weeks longer than you would with traditional roses!
How do I care for my arrangement and ensure it lasts up to one year?
Taking care of a Prairies and Petals arrangement is very minimal! Following these simple instructions, your arrangement is sure to last up to one year!
- Do not water: Our roses have been treated to last the entire year through our preservation process.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight: Your arrangement does not require sunlight to maintain their freshness.
- Display in room temperature: When displaying your arrangement, avoid rooms that are too warm to or too cool.
- Lightly dust your arrangement as needed: Overtime if dust accumulates, brush off your roses lightly with a duster.
- Do not place anything on the roses: The lid is intended to be placed at the bottom or the side of the arrangement. Placing the lid on top will damage the roses.
- Leave the roses in the box: To maintain the longevity of your roses, refrain from touching or removing the roses from the arrangement.
What happens to my arrangement after one year?
Your Prairies and Petals arrangement will still look beautiful after one year! The roses will begin to wilt just like your traditional roses but you can still keep your arrangement and not have to worry about the distasteful scent like your traditional roses.
Can I remove the roses from the box?
The roses are not to be removed from the our Signature box. The roses are intended to be stored in their box as this will prolong the lifespan of the roses. Removing the roses will compromise the rose life expectancy and cause damage.
Will they get damaged in transit?
Each arrangement is packaged securely prior to leaving our facility. The arrangements are packaged in two-layer boxing to ensure the arrangement does not shift during transit.

Do you have a storefront location?
The beauty of our online platform allows our users to purchase their arrangement anytime online and have it delivered to their door nationwide.
